exhibits follow an Exmoor stream from its source down to an estuary, local rock

Hartland Abbey and Gardens
In an area of outstanding beauty, only a mile's walk to the beach, this Augustinian Monastery was founded in 1157, dissolved in 1539 and given by Henry VIII to the Sergeant of his Wine Cellar, whose decendants live here today. Extensively remodelled in 18th & 19thC, it contains spectacular architecture and murals.
Cobbaton Combat Collection
